Dr. Samit currently serves as an Operating Partner for Hildred, where he is responsible for evaluating and managing private investment opportunities in the healthcare services sector.
Dr. Samit, is the Founder of MyEyeDr.com, an organization that assists optometry practices in delivering the highest quality vision care and customer service. Dr. Samit serves as the Chairman at Capital Vision Services, LLC. He has been Director of Mid-Atlantic Dental Service Holdings LLC since September 25, 2017.
In May 2012, Dr. Samit was featured in Washington Smart CEO magazine in a full-page article in recognition of his “Entrepreneurial Spirit.” In June 2013, Dr. Samit was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” in the retail category by Ernst & Young.
Dr. Samit earned his undergraduate degree in 1978 at Kenyon College in Ohio and graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1982.
